Piranha Pins
I was inspired by a wonderful article written by Marilyn Singer, and published in the 2003 Children's Writers and Illustrator's Market, as well as posted on Harold Underdown's website. When I read the title of Marilyn's article, 'No More Piranhas', regarding the feeding frenzy of writers at writing conferences, aggressively handing manuscripts and samples to editors, art directors and publishers, I was inspired to create this mage and I made round buttons/pins from the art.
